The Spiral PrincessLisa Fuller works in mixed media using a variety of found objects and materials. Her greatest inspirations stem from the world childhood, fairytales and domesticity interwoven with memories and symbols. She employs paint, pastel, metallic pigment and gold leaf to transform a diverse canvas of paper collage, textile, expressive stitching and the integration of found objects.

Recently, Lisa’s work has taken on a more personal tone, exploring the spiritual and emotional depths of the psyche and rendering this into a blend of figurative form and abstract symbol.

Lisa initially studied Visual Arts through Charles Sturt University and then taught Visual Arts to Years 7-12. After the birth of her first child, Lisa left teaching and has focused on her art. She continues to develop and experiment with various mixed media techniques and expressing this upon an increasingly larger canvas.

Since moving to Yass in late 2002, Lisa has exhibited both locally and in the wider Southern Tablelands region, and more recently in various Sydney Venues. She is a member of the Paper Dolls Art Group, Yass ARTS and the National Association of Visual Artists (NAVA).
